Fabric Stash Building and a new Easter Project!!!

My SIL have had a Canmore/Banff trip planned for MONTHS - we wanted to go in November - couldn't, we wanted to go in December - couldn't, we tried to go twice in January - you guess it - couldn't!  But finally yesterday we made the trek to The Sugar Pine in Canmore for some fabric and yarn stash building!  After an hour and a half this is what we came out with!  (sorry for the blurry pictures - my cameras aren't cooperating and I'm tired - I promise I will work on better pictures for next post!)

I got a bunch of fat quarters for $1.99 EACH!  I got some cute kids fabric:

That I think I'm going to either make cute little backpacks out of....or maybe just keep it for the next time I need to whip together a cute apron or something!!

Then I got some cute (I think its a batik) fabric:

Not sure what I'm going to use it for but I thought it was pretty!!!


Last but not least - my Easter Project:

Its a super cute little wall hanging.  I've never done applique before so it will be a great new challenge!

Tuesday Night Project - A Mug Rug!!

I've been trying to figure out how to use up some of my Jelly Roll fabric that I got for a different project and I had a wonderful idea - a mug rug!!  Its just a coaster but its super cute!
